The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Pfc. Tavarus D. Setzler, 23, of Jacksonville, Fla., died Oct. 2 of wounds sustained when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device in Majar al Kabir, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2d Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
