The
Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting
Operation Enduring Freedom.
Spc.
Angel L. Lopez, 27, of Parma, Ohio, died Oct. 5, in Zabul province,
Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with small
arms fire.
He
was assigned to the 201st Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Infantry Brigade
Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Knox, Ky.
