The Department of Defense announced today the death of a
soldier who was supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.
Spc. Javion Shavonte Sullivan, 24, of Fort Mill, South
Carolina, died Jan. 8 in Al Anbar Province, Iraq, from a non-combat related
incident. Sullivan was assigned to the 16th Signal Company, 11th Theater
Tactical Signal Brigade, Fort Hood, Texas. The incident is under investigation.
