Air Force airmen set up the foundation of a housing tent as part of Task Force-Holloman at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., Aug. 27, 2021. The Defense Department, through U.S. Northern Command, and in support of the Department of Homeland Security, is providing transportation, temporary housing, medical screening, and general support for Afghan evacuees at facilities across the United States.
