Three Multinational Corps Iraq soldiers were killed yesterday when their vehicle hit a roadside bomb in central Baghdad.
The soldiers' names are being withheld pending notification of their families.
Meanwhile, the Defense Department released the identities of three soldiers who were killed recently supporting the war on terror.
Sgt. Richard A. Soukenka, 30, of Oceanside, Calif.;
Cpl. Lorne E. Henry, Jr., 21, of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; and,
Spc. Jonathan D. Cadavero, 24, of Takoma Park, Md.,
died Feb. 27 in Baghdad of wounds suffered when a roadside bomb detonated near their vehicle.
They were assigned to the 2nd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, N.Y.
