Nov. 4, 2008 - Afghan and coalition forces killed five insurgents during a combat security patrol in the Nahr Surkh district of Afghanistan's Helmand province yesterday,

In other Afghanistan news, a U.S. civilian shot and killed a local national in an altercation that took place in southern Afghanistan this morning.
