The Department of Defense announced today the death of a
soldier who was supporting Operation Freedom Sentinel.
Spc. Kyle E. Gilbert, 24, of Buford, Georgia, died Sept. 21,
in Bagram, Afghanistan, in a non-combat related incident. The incident is under
investigation.
He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment,
2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, New York.
