Coalition Forces Detain Three Suspects in Afghanistan

Nov. 26, 2006 – Coalition forces detained three suspected terrorists during an operation this morning on a compound near the city of Khowst in Khowst province, Afghanistan, Combined Forces Command Afghanistan officials said. Acting on credible information, coalition forces entered the compound in search of members of a terrorist network operating in the province. They requested the peaceful surrender of the people within the compound and fired no shots, officials said.
