The Department of Defense announced
today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Sgt. Wade D. Wilson, 22, of
Normangee, Texas, died May 11 while conducting combat operations in Helmand
province, Afghanistan. He was assigned
to 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine
Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.
