WASHINGTON, Feb. 3, 2015 – Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel
spoke this morning with Egyptian Defense Minister Sedki Sobhy to exchange
information about the security environment in the Middle East and North Africa,
including concerns about terrorism, according to a Defense Department statement
released today.
The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to continuing a
strong security partnership between the United States and Egypt, Pentagon Press
Secretary Navy Rear Adm. John Kirby said in the statement.
