The Department of Defense announced today the death of a
soldier who was supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.
Sgt. 1st Class Maitland Deweever Wilson, 38, of Brooklyn,
New York, died March 7 in Landstuhl, Germany from a non-combat related
incident. The incident is under investigation.
Wilson was assigned to the 831st Transportation Battalion,
595th Transportation Brigade, Manama, Bahrain.
