TSA Names Amy Williams as Federal Security Director for Dallas Love Field Airport

May 17, 2010 - DALLAS – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced today that Amy Williams has been named Federal Security Director (FSD) at Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL). In this role, Williams will oversee all TSA security operations at DAL as well as Tyler Pounds Regional Airport (TYR), East Texas Regional Airport (GGG) and Wichita Falls Municipal Airport (SPS), all in Texas.

Since joining TSA in 2002, Williams has served in a variety of positions of increasing authority and responsibility at DAL including Assistant Federal Security Director-Operations, Assistant Federal Security Director-Screening, Deputy Assistant Federal Security Director-Screening, and Stakeholder Liaison/Customer Service Manager. In her multiple roles, Williams managed every aspect of TSA airport security operations. She also is a graduate of the TSA Senior Leadership Development Program.

“Because of her previous positions within TSA, Amy brings to the role of Federal Security Director an intimate knowledge of Dallas Love Field and its spoke airports,” said Lee Kair, TSA Assistant Administrator, Office of Security Operations. “Amy’s wealth of operational knowledge will serve her airports well and continue to enhance aviation security in North and East Texas.”
