The Department of Defense announced
today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Spc. Tofiga J. Tautolo, 23, of
Wilmington, Calif., died May 27, in Bati Kot, Nangarhar province, Afghanistan,
of wounds sustained when his vehicle was attacked with an enemy improvised
explosive device. Tautolo was assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 61st Cavalry
Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.
