The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Pfc. Adam C. Ross, 19, of Lyman, S.C., died
July 24, in Wardak province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when he
encountered small arms fire.
Ross was assigned to the 2nd Battalion,
503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, Vicenza, Italy.
