The Department of Defense announced
today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Spc. Bryant J. Luxmore, 25, New
Windsor, Ill., died June 10, in Panjwai, Afghanistan, of injuries suffered when
he encountered enemy, small arms fire. Luxmore was assigned to the 1st
Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division,
Fort Stewart, Ga.
