The Department of Defense announced
today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Pfc. Nathan T. Davis, 20, Yucaipa,
Calif., died June 9, in Tore Obeh, Afghanistan, of injuries suffered when his
vehicle was attacked with an enemy improvised explosive device. Davis was
assigned to the 1st Battalion (Airborne), 501st Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade
Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, Joint Base
Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.
