The Department of Defense announced
today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Sgt. 1st Class Barett W. McNabb,
33, of Chino Valley, Ariz., died June 12, in Khakrez, Afghanistan, of wounds
suffered when he was attacked by an enemy improvised explosive device. McNabb
was assigned to the 562nd Engineer Company, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team,
2nd Infantry Division, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.
