Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today
the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Pfc. Jarrod A. Lallier, 20, of
Spokane, Wash., died June 18 in Zharay, Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of
wounds suffered when individuals in Afghan Police uniforms turned their weapons
against his unit. He was assigned to the
1st Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd
Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.
